As well as our regular services, we have many activities and events, both spiritual and secular. Everyone is welcome to any activity. Just ask, or if appropriate, just turn up. If in doubt, contact us.
What we do
The churches at Brill and Ludgershall both have active bell towers that are rung on a regular basis. Any one over the age of 7 can learn and you don't have to be particularly musical or exceptionally strong! Practices are held weekly, on Monday nights at Brill or Friday nights at Ludgershall.
Just turn up or contact the respective tower captain for more information:
- Andrew Haseldine on (01844) 208 948 at Brill
- Richard Haseldine (01844) 238 872 at Ludgershall.
We are a four part choir of up to 15 singers. We sing at the Holy Communion service on the 1st Sunday of the month in Brill church, and this is often preceded by a practice on the Saturday. We also get together a slightly fuller choir for Easter and for the occasional Evensong. We have a much larger choir for the Christmas Carol Service, which takes place on the last Sunday before Christmas.
Anyone interested in joining us in any of these call on (01844) 237102.
This open to everyone: an ideal chance to catch up with your neighbours over a pleasant drink and some homemade cakes and pastries. There are three coffee mornings:
Ashendon: 1st Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall between 10.30am and noon.
Brill: every second Saturday of the month in the URC between 10am and noon.
Ludgershall: last Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall between 10.30am and noon.

Our new social space, Memory Lane Café, has got off to a wonderful start. As I write I am looking forward to our third session.
Memory Lane Café is a social space for everyone, and particularly friendly for people with memory issues such as dementia. Each week we share tea, coffee and homemade cake. We sing a song or two, and enjoy a free raffle.
We have been blessed with many volunteers- some who are experts in memory issues, either by training or experience. We are a learning community, and react to the needs of the guests. One change we had to make at the beginning was to change venues. We pass on our thanks to Brill Sports and Social Club for so generously letting us use the building. However we found some people struggled with the acoustics, so we have moved into Brill church where it is easier to hear.
We have been enjoying sharing friendly chat and getting to know one another. As we go on we will plan a schedule of events, speakers and activities.
We would like to invite you to come and join us each Monday 11am-12.30pm, Brill church. Or is there anyone else you know who would like to come? Perhaps a friend, neighbour or family member. There’s no need to book, just pop along and say hello, we would love to see you!
