As well as our regular services, we have many activities and events, both spiritual and secular. Everyone is welcome to any activity. Just ask, or if appropriate, just turn up. If in doubt, contact us.
What we do
The churches at Brill and Ludgershall both have active bell towers that are rung on a regular basis. Any one over the age of 7 can learn and you don't have to be particularly musical or exceptionally strong! Practices are held weekly, on Monday nights at Brill or Friday nights at Ludgershall.
Just turn up or contact the respective tower captain for more information:
- Andrew Haseldine on (01844) 208 948 at Brill
- Richard Haseldine (01844) 238 872 at Ludgershall.
We are a four part choir of up to 15 singers. We sing at the Holy Communion service on the 1st Sunday of the month in Brill church, and this is often preceded by a practice on the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm and then 9:30am on the day. We also get together a slightly fuller choir for Easter and for the occasional Evensong. We have a much larger choir for the Christmas Carol Service, which takes place on the last Sunday before Christmas.
Anyone interested in joining us (there is NO audition), please call (01844) 237 595 or contact us.
This open to everyone: an ideal chance to catch up with your neighbours over a pleasant drink and some homemade cakes and pastries. There are three coffee mornings:
Ashendon: 1st Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall between 10.30am and noon.
Brill: every second Saturday of the month in the URC between 10am and noon.
Ludgershall: last Tuesday of the month in the Village Hall between 10.30am and noon.
